Essex County Football Association Ltd
Full time contract until June 2011
(Post continuation subject to funding)
Salary: £22 - £26,000


The Essex County Football Association working in partnership withThe Football Association is looking to appoint a Full Time Referees Development Officer.


The role encompasses the following areas:
• Working to maintain and increase the number of referees available to cover affiliated football in the County
• To lead the Recruitment, Retention and Development of Referees
• The Education of referees in conjunction with the other Referee Development Officer and Senior Instructors.
• The Development and implementation of support mechanisms for all referees.
• Referee Development (Leading to the growth and development of all aspects of refereeing including adult, youth, women and girls, disability and small-sided).
• To offer support, help and guidance to Instructors, Assessors, mentors and coaches involved in refereeing
You need to be passionate about and committed to the development of refereeing at a local level.

 

You must be able to motivate people, work under pressure, willing to work flexible hours, handle multiple priorities, be well organised and meet deadlines. In addition you must have excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to influence at all levels. You need to be an experienced referee as well as having some experience in training or education.
