The ESFA Bursary Scheme for teachers

• Grants are awarded on a strictly first come first serve basis.
• Grants are awarded to applicants to be used to support the teacher to gain an FA qualification that will assist them to run an out of hour’s football activity/school team.
• Grants will be issued for up to a maximum £50 towards a Level 1 qualification, £100 towards a Level 2 and £50 towards an age appropriate course.
• Applications may be submitted at any time following the successful completion of an FA Coaching course or prior to a course you have been accepted onto. You will be notified within six to eight weeks of your application being received.
• Level 1, Level 2, the new FA Age appropriate courses qualifications are eligible for grants.
• Applicants must not have received an ESFA grant within the last 12 months.
