DescriptionFor the Football Association (FA) which is the governing body of football in England and is responsible for promoting and developing the game at all levels. It has seen significant change over the last 4-5 years and is now a multi-faceted group with turnover of approximately £300 million and a staff of approximately 600 people employed across several divisions and companies. It is a non-profit making organisation with all surpluses redistributed into the game. Role will promote the FA and its brands to the widest possible audiences and engage internally and externally across a wide range of stakeholders. Must be a proven marketing communications professional with a proactive and innovative approach. Also have strong communications experience with a track record in managing a complex and highly pressurised media relations, public relations and public affairs agenda as well as being well verse in event based brand communications and the use of social media channels. The ability to demonstrate success in developing and implementing a brand marketing strategy for an internationally recognised public facing brand is essential.
